“Ang Alamat ng mga Unang Anghel”

Size: 14 x 18 inches

Medium: Watercolor and Acrylic on Paper

Corinne Juliano-Salazar is a student from the College of Fine Arts, UP Diliman, Majoring in Painting. Her interest in art began before school age – where she would endlessly collect pebbles, sea shells, flowers, seeds, anything with form, color, and texture that would fit into her small hands, enough to make a ‘world’ that only she could understand. Colored clays and crayons were her best buddies; and her collection of ‘stampitas’ was her dearest treasure.

A licensed Nurse who also holds a degree in Civil Engineering, her desire to pursue art is unstoppable – having her first Watercolor Art Workshop in UP Diliman in 2002. Art for her is like a pure honey, once you taste it you want to drink it… it’s addicting. She had a number of art mentors, and Mr. Fernando Sena was one of them.

Raised in Maguindanao, particularly in the City of Cotabato and the coastal towns of Kalamansig and Lebak, Sultan Kudarat – her immersion to our diverse Filipino culture immensely enriched her experiences and left indelible imprints in her memory where true life and communal harmony exist.
